Ed's Hire Terms & Conditions - Marquee & Event Hire Specialists

Our terms and conditions of hire are detailed below - please read carefully. 

  1. The Hirer will be responsible for the cost of the repair of all goods damaged and replacement of goods lost or stolen.
  1. All equipment must be returned in a clean dry condition (refer to item 3) or cleaning costs will be charged to the Hirer.
  1. Table linen must be returned free of food waste. In the event of non removable stains, burns to fabric or other obvious damage, the Hirer will be responsible for replacement cost of linen or skirt.
  1. No warranty is given by The Company as to the suitability of the goods hired, for the purpose required by the Hirer.
  1. Should the Hirer default in payment, The Company may enter the customer’s premises and retake possession of and permanently retain any goods subject to the hire.
  1. Hire charges are payable for TIME OUT not TIME USED. Any extension of time required for the hire of goods must be confirmed with the office of The Company and will result in additional charges payable by the Hirer.
  1. Cancellation of orders within 7 days of booked delivery date will result in the loss of the refundable bond.
  1. The Company accepts no responsibility for damage to persons or property caused by items on rental.
  1. Allow approximately 2-3 days for refund of Bond when hiring glassware, crockery, cutlery and linen.
  1. When goods are collected / returned by the Hirer it is the Hirer’s responsibility to load and unload the goods.
